X-HUB TOKYO #4 Overseas Expansion Seminar 2024
How to Win Overseas Customers～Make Effective Use of Exhibitions!～

The X-HUB TOKYO project, hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, aims to support the global activities of startups in Tokyo and revitalize the economy of Tokyo while fostering a startup ecosystem through exchanges with startups from overseas that are active globally. The Overseas Expansion Seminar is composed of four sessions in total and is mainly targeted at startups aiming to expand their businesses overseas. Through the seminar, we will share the characteristics of ecosystems by area and the knowledge necessary for overseas expansion.
In the #4 Overseas Expansion Seminar, we will present how to win overseas customers and effective use of overseas Trade shows.
In the first half of the event, Mr. Alex Odajima, CEO of EDGEof INNOVATION, will be invited to share knowledge about developing customers overseas and utilizing overseas exhibitions.
In the latter half of the event, as senior success companies, Mr. Momoro Kaji, Executive Officer (Global Business) of INFORICH inc. and Mr. Yuji Shiraki, Founder & CEO of TECHMAGIC INC, will join us for a panel discussion with facilitation by Mr. Odajima. Mr. Kaji and Mr. Shiraki will share their experiences on how they drew their strategy to win overseas customers and utilized exhibitions in Europe, North America and Asia.
We welcome not only startups, but also individuals and members of organizations that support them!

As a specialist in business incubation, Alex focuses on various activities to connect the innovation ecosystems in Japan and overseas. He has been involved in innovation-related initiatives in collaboration with embassies and startup support organizations in Canada, Germany, France, Estonia, and many other countries. He is a J-Startup nomination committee member, Start2 Group Japan representative, Endeavor Japan operations manager, and others.
Mr. Momoro Kaji
INFORICH inc.
Executive Officer (Global Business)
After foundational education and overseas studies, a career was developed with leadership at Accenture, overseeing various projects. Contributions include aiding an IT venture’s exit in San Francisco and a significant role in a market entry/Pre-IPO project in Japan. Held executive roles in public companies and supported the expansion of foreign ventures in Japan, showcasing international business skills.
Mr. Yuji Shiraki
TECHMAGIC INC.
Founder & CEO
Worked for Boston Consulting Group, focusing on telecom and manufacturing industries. Yuji has worked on a wide range of projects such as new business development, global strategy, and organizational reform. He has expertise in digital transformation and productivity improvement using Al and robots. He studied abroad in Canada for high school and university, and graduated from Harvard Graduate School of Business Online (CORe). Founded TECHMAGIC in 2018.
