Business expansion to overseas, inbound business or business for foreigners are the fields with a lot of obstacles to many Japanese companies. One of the reasons is that it is difficult to access the right personnel that is necessary for doing business abroad or for foreigners. Particularly, in terms of foreifner employement, recruitment of international students has been active in the last ten years, but there are many problems as well. For example, intense competition in major companies, scarce local network of exchange students or difficulty to find talents.

In recent years, direct recruitment activity at the local site named “cross-border adoption” has been attracting attention as a movement to change this situation. After employment, empoyers arrange for local dispatching and engaging in domestic operations etc. Hence, we asked TalentEx CEO, who has developed job offering mainly in Thailand, dramatically expanded sales due to cross-border adoption. We will talk about case examples and trends where local expansion could be done smoothly. We also invited lead expert Mr. Ogawa of Skylight Consulting who has succeeded in adopting transboundary from Russia, to ask how to adopt and utilize top global talent, points of success.
