The X-HUB TOKYO project, hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, aims to support the global activities of startups in Tokyo and revitalize the economy of Tokyo while fostering a startup ecosystem through exchanges with startups from overseas that are active globally. The Overseas Expansion Seminar is composed of four sessions in total and is mainly targeted at startups aiming to expand their businesses overseas. Through the seminar, we will share the characteristics of ecosystems by area and the knowledge necessary for overseas expansion.
The #3 Overseas Expansion Seminar will provide insights into the characteristics and appeal of the Southeast Asian market, with a particular focus on Singapore, the leading startup ecosystem in the region, and Indonesia, which has experienced remarkable growth.
During the first half of the event, Mr. Takeshi Ebihara, Rebright Partners Pte Ltd., Founding General Partner, will be invited to share an overview and characteristics of the Southeast Asian ecosystem, as well as key points for expansion.
In the latter half of the event, facilitated by Mr. Ebihara, Mr. Kosuke Sogo, CEO and co-founder of AnyMind Group Inc. and Mr. Go Suzuki, Board Director, Head of Overseas Business Division of Terra Charge Corporation talk about their firsthand experiences and secrets to their success in expanding to Singapore and Indonesia, as well as the challenges they faced along the way.

Manages an independent venture capital firm specializing in Asia located in Singapore, Bangalore and Tokyo.
Graduated from Yokohama National University and joined JAFCO in 1994.
Founded Rebright Partners, an independent venture capital firm, in 2008.
Moved business location to Singapore in 2011, and started investing in Asian companies.
Certified analyst (CMA) by the Securities Analysts Association of Japan.
Mr. Kosuke Sogo

CEO and co-founder
Kosuke Sogo founded AnyMind Group in Singapore in 2016. Within one year, the business expanded to six markets, and over eight years, it grew to 15 markets with more than 1,500 employees. In 2023, the company went public on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market. Sogo continues to lead the growth of the business, overseeing all operations and locations.He was ranked in the Top 10 of Forbes JAPAN’s ‘Japan Entrepreneur Ranking 2022’ and was also selected as an ‘Endeavor Entrepreneur’ by Endeavor, one of the world’s largest entrepreneur support organizations.

Go Suzuki is a board director of Terra Charge Corporation and he is in charge of overseas business. His Terra Group career is in the UK, the netherland, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Vietnam over 10 years after working as Eli Lilly, the US Pharmaceutical company and graduating from MBA.
